If your core-trunk muscles are not strong it will create a weakness in your trunk body Centre.
The abdominal region to train are the large muscles of the anterior wall-external oblique, internal oblique, rectus abdominis which all support your spinal muscles. Your torso is just as important as your lower back muscles and they consist of erecta spinae, quadratus lumborum are all in your lower back. There are so many exercise you can do to strengthen your core, trunk and lumbar spine.. creating strong obliques, focusing on an erecta spinae and torso. Some of those exercises are crunches with a fit ball, waist twists, Swiss ball twists,nrg balls, bosu balls, reformer bed, Pilate exercises,lower back lifts, all focusing on correct posture and Pilate principles (breathing, head straight, shoulders down, rib to hip connection, understanding pelvic placements, core activation)...
