Exactly what causes tennis elbow is unknown, but it is thought to be due to small tears of the tendons that attach forearm muscles to the arm bone at the elbow joint.
The muscle group involved, the wrist extensors, function to cock the wrist back. Specifically, the extensor carpi radialis brevis has been implicated in causing the symptoms of tennis elbow
The exercises that you should do are:
Db. Forward curls
Db reverse curls
Supinate, pronate rotations. Then add dbs. Initially start with no weight this will help build the forearms and elbows.
You will also need acupuncture, deep tissue work. I have found this helps me helps as I have had this problem on and off now for the last 10 years. Due to over use of the forearms from massaging all day.
