You always need something new to bring into your relationship to help spice things up, or else things can get a bit dull after a while, especially if you have been married for a while! I enjoy dressing up in sexy clothes or lingerie, playing music and strutting my stuff for my man. If you haven’t got a pole in the house, use your man and dance around him; hold onto him and use him as the pole! It keeps you feeling young, sexy, fit and confident, great for self-esteem, especially for women in their 40s; it’s an escape from the role of being a mum and housewife! And it keeps your man interested!!”

“Dancing has been my passion since I can remember, taking classes in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-hop, Belly Dancing and Pole dancing for the last six months. Iavatar also have a blue belt in Taekwondo and competed in the Australian University Games 2004, gaining a gold medal for my efforts. I’ve always been active, but since my teenage years, I became passive and depressed and stopped many activities.

Having been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome last year, living an active life and keeping a healthy diet to keep my tiredness to a minimum have motivated me to concentrate on my fitness. Since then, I have completed my Certificate III and IV in Fitness through Kangan Batman TAFE to understand my body better and achieve my goals.

I’ve been training with Margie since August 2007, and not only has she helped me with my self-esteem and constant weight issues, but she has also helped me control and understand my Chronic Fatigue. Since going to Margie, I’ve been advancing in my Pole dancing rapidly, become involved in dancing again, and have noticed significant weight loss in just a few short months. I had my wedding in early December last year, and I had managed to drop back down to the weight I was in high school by the time the day came around. I can’t wait to get started in the next phase of my life and focus on my fitness and those of others by personal training.”
