Aerial yoga is a cross between Yoga, Pilates, suspension training, callisthenics, and gymnastics. You stretch & lengthen your whole spine & body further with less strain. Monitor your own resistance, decompressing tight joints and relieving pressure while aligning your vertebra. Participants were suspended less than a meter above the ground in a silk hammock. All your movements are performed using the hammock. Classes on offer from beginners to advanced. If it’s your first time with Aerial Yoga, start with a Restorative class, as hammocks are low to the ground. All classes are Mind Body Spirit. 2 friendly cats in the studio. About Antigravity Yoga – Aerial Fitness & the Benefits
You will leave class feeling lighter, refreshed and renewed. Your posture will be improved, and you will be taller (growth is not cumulative). There are so many benefits and even through mindful consciousness, learning new skills, creative and artistic fitness experience, muscular release through self-massage techniques, re-aligning of the spine, decompression and hydration of the vertebral discs within the spinal column, which also allows space for nerves within the spinal cord, refreshes the lymphatic, digestive and circulatory systems and release “happy hormones”.
Class styles and descriptions
We will take you on a journey into re-aligning, lengthening the spine and self-healing. We guide you on the ancient healing aspects of meditation, breathing and mindful breath. Connecting your inner awareness to the physical benefits of the anti-gravity yoga hammock. Your heart will open, stretching and lengthening your whole body and spine with laughter and vivid expression. It is beneficial for everyone who wants a body transformation change in their body shape and life.

From Preschool to teenagers, we have so much to offer. Make time to view our unique venue. All our sessions teach circus skills to develop concentration, self-esteem, confidence and teamwork for your kids. They will love it. We offer a range of classes for all ages. Students learn a variety of skills, Aerial-yoga, AntiGravity-yoga, tumbling, tricks, flips, tricks, circus, balance co-ordination, trapeze, high and low – walk the tight rope, roman rings, ropes, silks, hula hoops, games and mats, snacks, drinks included for all sessions.
Lindsay says, “What a treat! I have been involved in many athletic endeavours before, but never anti-gravity in nature! We had such a lovely time, a unique experience, in a beautiful atmosphere. You have to try this out if you haven’t already. This is definitely my kind of yoga, involving inversions, flips, handstands, splits, you name it…and you really get in touch with your body. I loved this class with Margie and can’t wait to learn more!”
